The direct integration method requires development skills on the part of the participating merchant and is the only method that can be used for custom-built e-commerce platforms and e-commerce platforms for which no plugin is available.

Currently, the system exclusively supports one-time payments, with plans to incorporate recurring payment options in the future.

The payment process is initiated by submitting a basic checkout form to the instaPay^® WebPay gateway webserver.

The instaPay^® WebPay gateway will facilitate the payment process, and once complete it will send a payment notification to the e-commerce platform and redirect the customer back to the e-commerce platform.
